Transitioning to the leadership position is hard and lonely
I remember the first time I became a manager I did not know how to create a strategic plan for my team My productivity tanked because I attended a lot of unproductive meetings I had conflicts with my direct reports and stakeholders I spoke to HR and shared my frustration She said, "No worries, Vicario. Most people become great managers after five years." It's very reassuring to hear that. To know that it's not that I am not a bad manager It's just that it takes time to be a great one At the same time, I did not have the luxury of time The business grew fast, so I needed to ramp up my skills as soon as possible This led me to read endless management books, seek mentorship from more senior colleagues, and practice the skills on the projects that I faced Now I am teaching all of that to 60+ organizations across South East Asia So you don't have to repeat the same mistakes that I made So organizations have sustainable leadership talent pipeline I usually work with individuals and organizations that value learning They want to invest in people development, possess open-mindedness to learn, and willing to take actions If you are one of them, let's talk :)
